On September 20, 2024, Tadala abc Primary School marked a significant milestone as it celebrated its first anniversary. The school community, along with distinguished guests, gathered to commemorate the remarkable progress made in the past year. The event showcased the school’s academic achievements, with students impressing the audience with their presentations and performances.
Susanne Crecelius, representing the Rotary Club of Aschaffenburg, from Germany delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the importance of hard work and dedication. She shared the story of Tadala Ngosi, our founder and executive director who achieved her goals through a combination of academic excellence and athletic pursuits.
The headmistress, Mrs. Stella Pungulani, highlighted the school’s impressive academic growth, attributing it to the implementation of effective after-school programs and availability of resources. She also acknowledged the positive impact of the newly established library and upcoming feeding program. A representative from ministry of education praised the Rotary Club of Aschaffenburg for through the Rotary International for their funding towards the school construction and thanked the MATCH Foundation team for providing access to quality education to vulnerable students in the rural area.
One of the students Chinsisi Chimchere who was formerly a school drop-out expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the support, emphasizing how it has transformed his life by providing access to quality education and opportunities for personal growth. The anniversary celebration concluded with a sense of accomplishment, highlighting the 75% pass rate from the previous year as the major milestone compared to 45% from the surrounding schools.
