On Saturday, August 2nd, MATCH Foundation hosted its 2nd annual Charity Tennis Tournament at Tadala abc Primary School, an inspiring day where sport and generosity came together to support life-changing initiatives. The event was not only a celebration of tennis but also a meaningful effort to raise funds in line with the foundation’s mission.

A heartfelt acknowledgment goes to sponsor Michael Bargl, whose generosity made this year’s Open Annual Charity Tennis Tournament possible. Recognition also goes to the MATCH Foundation team, whose commitment and tireless efforts created a memorable and impactful event from start to finish. The tournament’s atmosphere was filled with energy, joy, and connection, showcasing how collective action can turn a simple game into a powerful force for change. The tournament attracted 6 teams represented as the Zomba team, Ntcheu team, Blantyre team, Lilongwe team, Australia team, Belgium team and Germany team.

As the final matches concluded and celebrations filled the air, excitement was already building for next year’s tournament. With each passing year, the event continues to grow in impact, strengthening the mission and bringing lasting change to communities.
