Learning With Leaders: MATCH Joins the 2026 Collaborative Learning Initiative

On screens filled with faces from across East and Southern Africa, a shared energy connected leaders working at the grassroots of change. MATCH Foundation was honored to join 34 community-based organizations selected for the 2026 Collaborative Learning Initiative (CLI), convened by the Issroff Family Foundation.

Representing MATCH, Tadala joined peers from Malawi, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and South Africa — leaders deeply embedded in their communities, tackling challenges in education, livelihoods, gender equity, and youth empowerment.

This initiative is not about quick fixes. Over the next ten months, CLI creates space for reflection, shared learning, and strategic thinking — strengthening both leadership and organizational practice.

“Impact grows when we learn together,” Tadala reflected. “This space allows us to pause, listen, and become better stewards of the trust communities place in us.”

The journey ahead promises not only stronger strategy for MATCH Foundation, but deeper regional partnerships rooted in African leadership and collective wisdom.
