Behind the classrooms at Tadala abc Primary School, learning looks different. Here, lessons begin with soil-stained hands and end with carefully counted earnings.
Through the Kids Agripreneurship Project, learners have moved beyond theory into practice — preparing land, planting crops, nurturing growth, and now harvesting and selling produce. According to ACADES MW, the children have performed exceptionally well, reaching harvesting levels and taking their first steps into agribusiness.
One learner held up a small amount of money from sales and said quietly,
“I didn’t know school could teach me how to earn.”
The garden has become a living classroom — building responsibility, confidence, and an understanding that knowledge has real-world value. With ACADES’ continued partnership, learners are not just growing crops; they are growing agency and entrepreneurial thinking that extends into their homes and communities.
