The motto – Empowering Women, Enriching Communities.
We always want the best for our children at Mzungu village and that translates to where they are coming from, their homes. On August 19th, a transformative business training session was held at Tadala abc Primary School, bringing together 60 women, parents of the school’s students. The training was hosted by MATCH Foundation in partnership with Village Solar, an organization rooted to transform communities by uplifting women’s businesses. The idea is to uplift the lives of these children, as such, a joint effort arrived to build stronger businesses that would bring income to the homes of these young ones. The workshop offered vital skills in business management and sustainability, designed to ignite entrepreneurship and improve household livelihoods.
One participant shared, “With this training, my business will flourish, and so will my children’s lives. I’ll be able to put food on the table and give them the future they deserve.” That single voice speaks volumes. It reflects not only personal ambition but a shared vision for stronger families and a thriving community.
The ripple effects of this training extend beyond the women themselves. As economic opportunities grow, so too does the stability and well-being of the children at Tadala abc Primary School. Education becomes more accessible, homes more secure, and futures brighter. These trainings are expected to continue in the upcoming quarter.
