A proud moment for the entire MATCH Foundation family came on 5 September 2025 when Executive Director Tadala Ngoso was honored with the National Youth Award for hampioning the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Presented during the International Youth Day celebrations, the award recognizes her leadership and the organization’s outstanding contribution to advancing Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3), Quality Education (SDG 4), and Gender Equality (SDG 5) in Malawi.

“I am immensely honored and grateful to have received this award,” Tadala shared. “It is a testament to the power of collective action and proof that our approaches to youth development are creating tangible impact. This award belongs to every volunteer, community partner, and team member who has dedicated their time and passion to this cause. And to our funders, past and present, thank you for your unwavering support.”
This recognition goes beyond individual achievement. It reflects MATCH Foundation’s broader mission: to empower young people, strengthen communities, and create pathways to unstainable development. Through initiatives ranging from early childhood education and school readiness programs to youth leadership, gender empowerment, and community health, the organization continues to turn global goals into local realities.
What’s Next?
Tadala emphasized that this milestone is not an endpoint but a catalyst to renewing her commitment, and that of the organization, to transform lives and communities across Malawi. “The work continues,” she affirmed, “and with it, our resolve to ensure that no young person is left behind.”
