Learning and Collaboration in Kenya

In February, MATCH Foundation’s Executive Director Tadala Kandulu Ngosi joined leaders and community builders from across Africa for the 2026 Collaborative Learning Initiative (CLI) Convening, hosted by the Issroff Family Foundation in Naivasha, Kenya.

The gathering brought together purpose-driven organizations working at the frontline of community development, providing a space for reflection, collaboration, and learning.

Over three days, participants explored topics including leadership development, sustainable financing, and strengthening community-led impact. The conversations emphasized the importance of collective leadership and building systems that sustain meaningful change. The convening also marked 6 years of the CLI program, a 10-month leadership program for local founders which Tadala is part of cohort 6.

For MATCH Foundation, the convening reinforced the value of collaboration, shared learning, and global partnerships in strengthening the work happening locally in Malawi.
