February also brought exciting news from the tennis court as MATCH Foundation athletes delivered an outstanding performance at the Smash Squad Academy Tennis Tournament in Blantyre.
A squad of 10 young athletes represented MATCH Foundation in the U12 Green Court and U12 Orange Court categories, competing against some of the region’s strongest junior players.
Their performance was remarkable.
Out of 12 medals available, the team secured 8 medals, achieving the highest medal count of the tournament with a 67% medal share.
